How to take screenshots
When it comes to take screenshots, the first idea come to your mind might be press “print screen” on the keyboard. It is okay to take a full-screen shot. What if you want to take a screenshot of selected area? Besides recording pc screen, Screen Recording Suite has this function of taking screenshots.
On quick start area, there are three modes offered: custom area, full screen and select window. Just left click the relevant button to capture the screenshot. For taking screenshots without the interface appears on the screen. Here I will provide you a solution for this.
How to take screenshots of selected area
1.Open the “options” dialog box
Go to the “recording” area to check whether you preset hotkey or not. By default, the hotkey for taking screenshot is F9. You can change it from F6 to F12 according to your preference.

Go to the “image file” on the “options” to select a format for your file. Your image file can be saved to four formats: jpg, png, bmp, gif and tiff.

2.(Attention) Instead of left clicking, you should right click the “custom area” to reach the purpose. The button will turn red, which means you have selected the capturing mode.

3.Then click the “minimize” icon on the upper right of the interface.
4.Press the hotkey F9 on the keyboard and use mouse to select the area you want to capture.
Now screenshot is finally finished when you click “ok”. Your image file will be automatically saved to your selected folder or the folder auto-generated by the software.
Take full-screen shot
The common way to take full screenshot of desktop
1.Press the “print screen” on the keyboard to copy the entire screen to clipboard.
2.Open a image editing program on your desktop
3.Paste the image or press Ctrl+V
4.Enter a name and choose a file format
5.Save it
Finally, we make it. But it requires you to have an image editor on your computer. But for Screen Recording Suite, it goes easily. The quality of image is as good as its original and there is no any fuzzy issue.
The way to take full-screen shot with Screen Recording Suite is the same as the selected area one. The only difference is to right click the “full screen” instead of “custom area”. For this method, there is no need to have an image editor and all the things can be done by preset.
Take screenshot of a selected window
The third mode enables you to capture a selected window accurately. Take the steps as what I mentioned above.
There will be a finder tool to help you to detect the window. The caption of the window will be detected as well as its height and width. You can preview the area to check whether it is what you want or not. If it is, click “ok” to take screenshot.
